Old Quebec Charm, Modern Breeding Standards

Our cattery is registered with TICA, CFA & WCF, incorporated in Ontario, and our cats earn titles at international shows. Parents are genetically tested. Every kitten is raised underfoot, socialized in a home environment, examined twice by our veterinarian, vaccinated with two FVRCP core vaccines, dewormed before travelling. Lifetime breed-related genetic disease protection stands behind each kitten, along with 30 days of pet insurance and lifelong consulting from our team.

Which British Cat Suits a Quebec City Home?

• British Shorthair: the round, plush classic. One brushing a week, endless composure, perfect for apartments in Saint-Roch or family homes in Sainte-Foy.

• Golden shaded colours: green-eyed golden, blue golden and lilac golden shaded kittens.
• Point colour: blue-eyed golden shaded point, blue golden shaded point and silver shaded point kittens.

Delivery to Quebec City

We arrange your kitten's journey to Quebec City and coordinate the timing with you, and in the weeks before go-home day you will receive regular photo and video updates of your kitten growing up. Many of our Quebec families first find us while searching kittens for sale in Quebec City or eleveur British Shorthair Quebec; the process then runs entirely by message and video call until your kitten comes home.

Reserve in Three Steps

The three steps are simple. First, look at our Available Kittens: if a kitten there is the one, reserve that kitten directly; if none is available, or none is quite right, join the waitlist for a future litter with a $500 CAD plus tax deposit ($565 CAD), and choose first when the right litter arrives. Second, follow your kitten's growth through photo and video updates, sign the contract and place the 50 percent deposit on the kitten you choose. Third, we arrange the journey to Quebec City and coordinate the timing with you, and the balance comes due on go-home day.

The First Week in Your Quebec City Home

Welcome your kitten with one quiet room: litter box, fresh water, the food they know and a scratching post. British kittens raised in a home, like ours, adapt quickly, and within days most are exploring the whole house and choosing their favourite chair, usually yours. We provide the complete veterinary file, in the standard format any Quebec City veterinarian can continue from, including vaccine dates.

Living with a British in the old capital

Quebec City homes range from stone-walled Old Town apartments to family houses in Beauport and Charlesbourg, and the breed suits all of them: quiet, tidy, affectionate and entirely indoor. During Carnaval fireworks or a July thunderstorm on the Plains of Abraham, expect your cat to remain exactly as calm as they were before it started. Grooming is a weekly brush for the Shorthair and a few short sessions for the Longhair, less maintenance than a single snow-clearing of a Quebec City driveway.

Families often ask about language, and the honest answer is that cats are fluent in routine rather than French or English. Your kitten will learn the sounds of your household, whatever language it speaks, within the first week.

How far ahead should you plan?

Litters are planned through the year, and popular colours are claimed from the waitlist before they are ever listed. If you have a season in mind, a graduation, a move into a new home in Levis or Beauport, join the waitlist early and tell us your timing. We will match you with the litter that fits, rather than asking you to compete for whichever kitten happens to be posted.
