British Shorthair & British Longhair Kittens in Vaughan

Vaughan has grown up fast: the towers of the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Wonderland summers, and established neighbourhoods in Woodbridge, Maple, Kleinburg, Thornhill and Concord where family homes come with a dog in the yard and, increasingly, a cat on the stairs. Searches for British Shorthair kittens in Vaughan and kittens for sale in Vaughan climb with the city, but documented local breeders have not kept pace. CatKing Cattery raises British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens in Toronto, straight down Highways 400 and 407, and Vaughan families reserve with us for a simple reason: everything about our program can be checked.

Why Vaughan Families Reserve With a Toronto Cattery

Because credentials travel better than promises. CatKing is a TICA, CFA & WCF registered cattery and a legally registered Ontario corporation. Our breeding cats are genetically tested, our cats are titled at international shows, and every kitten is raised underfoot in our cattery and examined twice by our veterinarian before go-home day. Each kitten carries TICA registration, two FVRCP vaccines, deworming, 30 days of pet insurance and our lifetime breed-related genetic disease protection. That is the standard a search for a cat breeder in Vaughan should end at.

Shorthair or Longhair: Choosing Your Vaughan Cat

The temperament is the same either way: calm, affectionate and easy to live with. What changes is the coat, and the minutes of brushing that come with it.

British Shorthair

The plush original: round-faced, dense-coated and serenely low-maintenance at one brushing a week. The leading choice for busy Vaughan households, from VMC condos to family homes in Maple.

British Longhair

The same calm, affectionate temperament in a long, flowing coat, kept beautiful with a few short brushing sessions a week. A natural pick for anyone who searched British Longhair kittens Vaughan and wants the glamour with the same steady character underneath.

Delivery From Toronto to Vaughan

Vaughan is one of our shortest journeys. Many families collect their kitten from our Toronto cattery in person, and delivery across Vaughan can be arranged just as easily. In the weeks before go-home day, photo and video updates follow your kitten's growth, so arrival day at your door in Woodbridge or Kleinburg feels like a reunion rather than an introduction.

Colours Vaughan Asks For

Our lines produce the golden shaded family in both coat lengths: golden shaded, warm and green-eyed; blue golden shaded, cooler and more silvery; and lilac golden shaded, the softest and rarest. Point colour litters add blue-eyed kittens in golden shaded point, blue golden shaded point, lilac golden shaded point and silver shaded point. The most requested shades are claimed from the waitlist before any public listing, so naming your colour early is genuinely practical advice, not a sales line.

How Reserving Works

Begin with our Available Kittens: if a kitten there is the one, reserve that kitten directly. If none is available, or none fits your family, join the waitlist for a future litter with a $500 CAD plus tax deposit ($565 CAD) and priority selection from upcoming litters. When you choose your kitten, the contract is signed with a 50 percent deposit, and the balance is due on go-home day.

Your Kitten's First Week in Vaughan

Give your kitten one quiet room to land in, with litter, food, water and a scratching post, then open the home gradually. Our kittens arrive comfortable with household sounds and people, and Vaughan families generally have a settled kitten within the week. We send the complete veterinary file, and a first visit to your Vaughan veterinarian in the opening weeks keeps records and vaccines continuous.

Calm in a busy house

Vaughan households run full: children, guests, a dog, a doorbell that works hard. The British temperament absorbs all of it without drama. Introductions to resident pets should still be gradual and supervised for the first days, after which this breed's patience usually turns housemates into companions.
