British Shorthair Kittens for Sale in Westmount, Quebec

Westmount climbs the flank of the mountain in terraces of old trees and older houses: Victoria Village shops at street level, Westmount Park below the library, and a lookout that takes in the whole city. It is a neighbourhood that keeps its standards quietly, and its families keep their animals the same way. Searches for kittens for sale in Westmount, or for a cat breeder in Westmount with a real pedigree behind the kittens, mostly land on Montreal-wide listings with little documentation. CatKing Cattery raises British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens in Toronto and serves Westmount families who prefer to verify everything.

Standards a Westmount Buyer Can Verify

CatKing is a TICA, CFA & WCF registered cattery and a legally registered corporation in Ontario. Our breeding cats are genetically tested, and our cats are shown and titled internationally. Every kitten receives two veterinary health exams, two FVRCP core vaccines and deworming before travel, and goes home with TICA registration, 30 days of pet insurance and lifetime breed-related genetic disease protection, all of it in writing. Nothing in that paragraph needs to be taken on trust: it is the file that arrives with your kitten.

City Living, British Temperament

The British breeds suit Westmount's housing stock beautifully: quiet and tidy in a greystone walk-up, composed in a family house above the park, and entirely indoor by conviction, so the mountain's coyotes and the city's traffic stay theoretical. British Shorthairs are affectionate without being demanding, the kind of company that improves a reading chair. British Longhairs add ceremony: a long, flowing coat that rewards a few short brushing sessions a week and looks entirely at home in a wood-panelled room.

The Colours Westmount Asks For

Our specialty is the golden shaded family, in both coat lengths. Golden shaded is the warm signature, green-eyed and plush. Blue golden shaded cools the coat toward silver-blue, and lilac golden shaded, the rarest, softens it to a pale warmth. Point colour litters bring blue-eyed kittens in golden shaded point, blue golden shaded point, lilac golden shaded point and silver shaded point. If you arrived searching British Longhair kittens Montreal with one shade chosen, tell us early: waitlist families select first from every litter.

How Reserving Works From Westmount

Start with our Available Kittens: if a kitten there is the one, reserve that kitten directly. If none is available, or none fits, join the waitlist for a future litter with a $500 CAD plus tax deposit ($565 CAD) for priority selection from upcoming litters. When you choose your kitten, a signed contract and 50 percent deposit hold them, the balance is due on go-home day, and we arrange delivery to the Montreal area while photo and video updates follow your kitten's growth.

Your Kitten's First Week in Westmount

Welcome your kitten with one quiet room: litter box, fresh water, the food they know and a scratching post. British kittens raised in a home adapt quickly, and within days most are exploring the whole house and choosing their favourite chair, usually yours. We provide the complete veterinary file, and a first visit to your own veterinarian in the opening weeks keeps the records continuous.

A note on registration and the spay/neuter agreement

Pet kittens go home under our spay and neuter agreement: your own veterinarian performs the procedure before your kitten turns eight months old, you send us the veterinary certificate, and your kitten's TICA registration papers follow. We remind you well ahead of the deadline. It is a small piece of paperwork that keeps a pedigree program responsible. Westmount families handle it as routinely as the first vet visit, and we flag the timing early so nothing about it is ever a surprise.
