British Shorthair Kittens for Sale in Boston

Boston families searching for kittens in Boston hold their breeders to a high standard, and so do we. CatKing Cattery raises British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens in Toronto, from champion golden shaded lines, and delivers to Boston and across New England, from Cambridge and Brookline to Newton, Wellesley and the North Shore.

Credentials a Boston Buyer Can Verify

CatKing is registered with TICA, CFA & WCF, and incorporated in Ontario. Our cats compete and win at international shows. Parents are genetically tested, and every kitten is placed with lifetime breed-related genetic disease protection. Kittens are examined twice by our veterinarian and go home with two FVRCP core vaccines, internal and external deworming, TICA registration and 30 days of pet insurance. When a Boston cat breeder search ends in actual documentation, it ends here.

Suited to New England Living

  • Brownstone and condo friendly: quiet, tidy, content indoors through a Boston winter
  • Scholar's companion: calm company for reading chairs, studies and home offices
  • Family ready: patient with children and polite with other pets
  • Low-fuss grooming: weekly brushing for Shorthairs, a few short sessions for Longhairs

Delivery to Boston

We arrange your kitten's flight to Boston and coordinate the handover with you, and New England families in Connecticut, Rhode Island and beyond are welcome to ask about routing. In the weeks before go-home day, photo and video updates follow your kitten's growth. Reserving begins with our Available Kittens: if a kitten there is the one, reserve that kitten directly. If none is available, or none is quite right, reserving continues on the waitlist for a future litter: a $500 CAD plus tax deposit ($565 CAD) gives your family priority selection from upcoming litters. A signed contract and 50 percent deposit then reserve your kitten, with the balance due on go-home day.

Our Colours

Boston families choose from the golden shaded family, in both coat lengths. Golden shaded is the signature: warm-toned, green-eyed and plush. Blue golden shaded and lilac golden shaded are the cooler rarities, and point colour litters bring blue-eyed kittens in golden shaded point, blue golden shaded point, lilac golden shaded point and silver shaded point. Every colour comes from the same champion lines and the same tested parents — the only difference is the coat your kitten wears through its first New England winter, and who chooses first: the waitlist, before any kitten is listed.

Your Kitten's First Week in Boston

Start your kitten in one quiet room with litter, food, water and a scratching post, then let them take over the home gradually. Our kittens are raised underfoot and arrive comfortable with household life, and Boston families usually report a settled kitten within the week. We send the complete veterinary file, exams, vaccine records, deworming history, so your Boston or suburban veterinarian can continue care from the first visit.

A cat for New England seasons

British cats are connoisseurs of the warm interior: a radiator-side bed in January, a screened window in July, and no interest whatsoever in going out in either. The care routine is small: a water fountain to encourage drinking in dry heated air, short daily play sessions, and brushing, weekly for a Shorthair, a few times a week for a Longhair. The breed is also car-calm for vet trips and summer moves between Boston and the Cape, provided the carrier is a familiar place.

For students and young professionals in shared housing, one honest note: this is a fifteen-plus-year commitment with a quiet, tidy roommate. British cats suit shared homes well precisely because they are calm, clean and undemanding of everyone's schedule.

The spay/neuter agreement, plainly

Pet kittens are placed under our spay and neuter agreement: your veterinarian performs the procedure before eight months, you send us the certificate, and the TICA registration papers follow. We remind families ahead of the deadline, and Boston-area clinics handle the certificate routinely. Breeding inquiries are considered separately and rarely. It is a small, standard piece of responsible pedigree practice.

Golden shaded is the signature: warm-toned, green-eyed, plush. Blue golden shaded and lilac golden shaded are the cooler rarities, and point colour litters bring blue-eyed kittens in golden shaded point, blue golden shaded point, lilac golden shaded point and silver shaded point. Both British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens are available. If you searched British Shorthair kittens Massachusetts or British Longhair kittens Boston, tell us your colour and join the waitlist.
